About
Augustana Burger is an audio engineer from Indianapolis, with a B.S. In Audio Engineering and Sound Production from the Jacobs School of Music at IU Bloomington. While she concentrates on mastering and live sound reinforcement, Augustana’s experience spans across the board in tracking, mixing, file editing/cleanup, and analogue circuitry design.
Augustana’s background as a musician led her into stage production and eventually live audio. It’s this fascination with performance ready that interests her in mastering and live sound. Augustana wants to help musicians' visions by polishing and preparing their work to be heard. There is no limit to her drive for a finished product, having mastered and/or acapella, pop, folk, rock, and jazz.
Augustana has worked with bands of various genres including Dose Rose, IU Soul Revue, Wayne Wallace Ensemble, Spektral Quartet, Resting Pitch Face, and more. Her passion for genre bridging leads her to creatively approach every project. Of all the genres Augustana listens to for leisure, she considers herself most knowledgeable in southern gothic and R&B rock.
Currently, Augustana works as a freelance audio engineer and tech assistant in Bloomington, IN. She hopes to work and travel through many states in her career and is excited to discover the first place she will go. Augustana Burger plans to follow wherever the best education and application are post graduation.
